Collaborative Bone Shaker
Bone Shaker is part of the Hot Wheels x Transformers portion of the Transformers Collaborative line of crossover figures. As their name rather obviously outright says, they transform into a Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, a rat rod that was first released as a Hot Wheels toy in 2006.
Before I continue this ramble about Bone Shaker: Bone Shaker also comes with a mace/gear shifter accessory that can plug into the vehicle mode as an oversized gear shift (akin to the Rat Fink illustrations) and I did not include any photos of Bone Shaker with that accessory because I think it's kinda silly. Might update this page with some photos of them with the accessory later though.
I grew up with RID01 and the Unicron Trilogy as my childhood Transformers series and Bone Shaker here really feels like something that could have come out of that whole era. And I don't just mean aesthetically they feel like something I could have bought as a $10 Deluxe as a 10 year old back in 2006 (instead of for $30 pre-tax and shipping in 2026. God I hate how fuck-off expensive everything is nowadays...) even the actual transformation process itself really harkens back to the simpler transformations of that whole era of Transformers toy design and engineering.
And the detail too, especially in vehicle mode, like they got sculpted shocks and suspension AND an actual sculpted interior? Sure said interior is very underdetailed (just being some seats and a steering wheel) but it still has one.
Probably the only thing that I would say about Bone Shaker that's...honestly not even a negative but is at least an oddity is how the ankle tilts work. Because the front of Bone Shaker's feet (if you can say they have feet) are formed via the top and rear section of the rear of vehicle mode folding around (and the tail light section on the rear folding over to form the front of the 'feet'), the figure's ankle tilt comes from the inside of the foot, with the actual front of the foot itself not moving. Again, not a negative, just a bit of an oddity thanks to the figure's design.
What's not an oddity though is because Bone Shaker's heels are the vehicle mode seats that flip 180 degrees for the transformation, that means you actually get a pretty insane amount of being able to adjust the heel to help keep the figure balanced in poses.
And now, it's time for my personal canon about Bone Shaker as a character because
they have quite literally zero information about them other than
officially being an Autobot:
Bone Shaker is a female Transformer and an
anarchist, who is aligned with neither the Autobots or the Decepticons, although
she will often pragmatically work with the Autobots (as she considers the
Decepticons the greater threat to Cybertron).
While fundamentally on the side of good, she is the epitome of 'good is not nice'. She might help the Autobots fight against Decepticon tyranny, but that won't stop her from calling Optimus Prime a 'fucking cunt' just as often as she'll call Megatron the same. And don't even get her started on the wee daft cunts called 'humans', either.
