SolJeanne (Minute Brain Series)

An action figure of SolJeanne. She has a red helmet with a black visor and silver mouthplate. Her torso is predominantly silver with some red and black detailing and a blue circle on her chest. Her arms are red and she also is wearing a red belt across her waist. Her upper legs are silver and black and her lower legs are red.

This here is SolJeanne from the 1991 tokusatsu series Super Rescue Solbrain, an entry in the Metal Heroes franchise and the second entry in the Rescue Police Series of the early 1990s.

This toy was released in 1991 by Bandai under the Minute Brain Series, a range of small-scale action figures and vehicles, as part of the larger toyline for the Super Rescue Solbrain Series.

Now, I say 'small-scale' but how small am I talking here? We're all familiar with the classic 3.75 inch scale used for action figures, right? The Minute Brain Series figures are 3.15 inches. So they're pretty dang small.

Despite this figure's small size, though, SolJeanne has some decent weight because her entire torso and upper legs are made of die cast metal.

I will note that there is more to the figure than just this: she came with various equipment on a sprue and a small sticker sheet for additional details, but I opted not to remove the accessories from the sprue nor use the stickers. This figure isn't super rare or valuable (the most expensive I've seen it go for is like $30 complete) but I dunno. Mind you the sticker sheet had a little stain on one of the stickers which is a reason why I chose not to use the stickers but yeah.

Oh and there's also a solid die cast medal that all of the figures in the Minute Brain Series come with. I don't have any pictures of it on-hand to include in this gallery yet (even though I literally have this figure complete in box) but once I get her out of storage and can take some more photos, I'll definitely be updating this gallery to show it off and the figure's packaging too because it's actually really damn nice.
