So, I've got a lot of ties to New England. My dad was from New London, my paternal grandma was from Somerville, and my family has owned a small cottage in the town of Wareham, on the South Coast of Massachusetts, since the 1960s. I own that summer home now.

But there is one thing I'd never actually done - I'd never actually been to Boston yet.

Until now.

Today is 25 June 2026 (in my time zone) and that means but one thing:
Today is my birthday and I am now 30 years old!

I am so tired... only 48 days days after the tragic loss of Simba, it's happened again.

One of our dear sweet orange babies, Creamsicle...he was struck and killed by a car this morning.

I'm transgender. I know, this is a huge surprise to just say out loud. Absolutely nothing on my website ever hinted at me being trrans before this journal entry.

Anyways, as of yesterday - 6 May 2026 - I have officially been on estrogen for one whole year!
